The main components

The kit is split into two parts, just like the procedure itself: everything to collect blood from the donor and everything to transfuse it to the recipient.

Donor

Donor questionnaire

A questionnaire to collect the donor’s life history and determine the likely risks of infection.
Blood container, 450 ml

With CPDA-1 anticoagulant solution, which ensures blood storage for 35 days.
EldonCard rapid test

Blood group test: test card, laminating film, scoops, scarifiers, wipes and Pasteur pipette.
Rapid test for infections

HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C.
